Twin Mum Stories — Share Yours

TwinSprout was built on one woman's story. But there are millions of twin mums out there — each with their own journey, their own battles, their own moments of joy that took their breath away.

This page is for all of them. For you.

Why Stories Matter

When I was in the depths of twin motherhood — alone, exhausted, broken in ways I couldn't yet name — what I needed more than anything was to hear from someone who understood. Not advice. Not reassurance. Just someone saying: I know. I've been there. You are not alone.

That is what this page is for.

Every Twin Journey Is Different

My story is one version of twin motherhood. But there are so many others:

— The twin mum who went through years of IVF to get there
— The twin mum whose babies spent weeks or months in NICU
— The twin mum navigating it with a partner — and still feeling completely overwhelmed
— The twin mum of identical twins
— The twin mum who has experienced loss
— The twin mum doing it without family nearby, without a support network, without the privileges I had
— The twin mum who is absolutely loving every second — and that is equally valid and equally worth sharing

Every single story deserves to be told. Every single story will help someone.

Share Your Story

If you are a twin mum and you would like to share your story on TwinSprout, I would love to hear from you.

There are no rules except honesty. Raw and real is always welcome here. Happy endings are not required — what matters is that it's true.

You can choose to be named or anonymous. You are in control of your story.

Not sure where to start? Answer any of these, in a few lines or a few pages:

  • How did you find out it was twins, and how did you feel?

  • What was the hardest part of the first year?

  • What's one thing you wish someone had told you?

  • What does life look like now?

The first stories will appear here soon. Yours could be one of them.

Before you send it: by sharing your story with TwinSprout, you're giving permission for it to be lightly edited and published on this website and on the TwinSprout Instagram. I'll always check the final version with you first, and you can ask for it to be changed or removed at any time. Please don't include anything that could identify your children or other people (such as full names, schools or hospitals) without their permission. See the Privacy Policy for how your information is looked after.

A Note From Rebekah

I shared my story on TwinSprout because I wished someone had shared theirs with me when I needed it most.

If my story has helped you — even a little — please consider sharing yours. You never know whose life it might change.
